1. Boredom to Blooms: April showers bring May flowers, and Lexington is no exception–although, we may be a bit early! Whether you are strolling the streets of Downtown Lexington or galavanting through our local gardens, nature boasts its blooms loud and proud. And there is so much more to explore, you could never get bored. 

  • Check out the partial solar eclipse (April 8th), enjoy a family birdwalk (April 13th), or soak in a sound bath (April 22nd) all from the blooming fields of Boxerwood Nature Center and Woodland Garden.
  • Take a class on the centuries old tradition of Kokedama, the art of making moss balls, at Tantivy Lavender Farm (April 27th)

2. Outdoor Adventures: Warmer weather means it’s time to embrace the great outdoors.
